Your first task is to be establish what the following terms and definitions mean and how they affect businesses generally.
• Define aims and objectives.
• What are marketing objectives? See Business Link definition also. Write and explain your own marketing objectives for your new product/service.
• How do the following functional areas help marketing? Finance; customer service; operations/production; research and development; quality assurance department; human resources; administration/ICT. Use example of launching your new product.
• What is the marketing mix? Discuss each P - Product, Price, Place, Promotion in detail analysing all aspects and give examples of the types of activities carried out (include examples).
Write an introduction into your chosen business which includes all the above points.
