1 - The Business Environment
This unit is designed to introduce you to business
activities. Considering the influence of owners and
stakeholders as well as the purpose of an organisation in
relation to its aims and objectives. You will also look at
the range of functional areas within an organisation and
how these area interact with one another.

of the Unit:
1 Know the range of different businesses and their
ownership
2 Understand how businesses are organised and achieve their
purposes
3 Know the impact of the economic environment on businesses
4 Know how political, legal and social factors impact on
business
