1 - Exploring Business Activity
This unit is designed to introduce you to business
activities. Considering the influence of owners and
stakeholders as well as the purpose of an organisation in
relation to its aims and objectives. You will also look at
the range of functional areas within an organisation and
how these area interact with one another.
Aims
of the Unit:
1 Understand the different types of business activity and
ownership
2 Understand how the type of business influences the
setting of strategic aims and objectives
3 Understand functional activities and organisational
structure
4 Know how external factors in the business environment
impact on organisations.
